What Does It Mean When You Dream About Scenes Happening in Reality
Why do dreams about scenes happening in reality occur? As the saying goes, "During the day, we have thoughts, and during the night, we have dreams." When you desire something intensely, you might dream about it at night. And once the dream becomes a reality, you might think that your dream has truly come true. However, this belief has no logical basis. Dream realization is merely a coincidence, a result of sensitive, suspicious, and extreme individuals connecting unrelated events.
Generally, people dream about things they have experienced in their lives. Events from childhood or even a random day in adulthood might appear in dreams. Sometimes, dreams can provide clarity on things you can't find or remember in waking life. These dreams are manifestations of your subconscious and not an indication that your dreams have come true.
Eight Types of Dreams:
1. Latent Dreams: Dreams that represent repressed desires and aspirations from your subconscious mind. For example, dreaming of indulging in delicious food may reflect your desires for control, power, fame, sexuality, or wealth in real life. These dreams are usually complex and occur during deep sleep.
2. Manifest Dreams: Dreams that depict unsatisfied desires from your waking life. These dreams may involve exam failures, losing something, or arguing with someone. They closely resemble reality and appear relatively fixed in nature.
3. Contrary Dreams: Dreams that contradict the facts of your waking life. For instance, dreaming of a blazing fire could indicate upcoming joyful or lucky events. Dreaming of a sinking ship symbolizes independence and freedom. Falling from a roof suggests a change in your current life situation, liberation from suppressed emotions, or a transformation of your character. It may also indicate the appearance of a beloved partner.
4. Emotional Dreams: Dreams that reflect your recent emotional state. For example, crying in a dream might represent deep-seated sadness or the release of stress, indicating emotional contentment.
5. Nightmares: Dreams that intertwine feelings of unease, tension, contradictions, and stress from your waking life. These dreams often take on a bizarre and unsettling form, leaving a lasting impression and lingering fear upon waking.
6. Prophetic Dreams: Dreams that accurately depict scenes or events that later unfold in real life. For instance, if someone loses a valuable item and has no idea of its whereabouts, a dream may reveal the location, and upon waking, they find the lost item exactly where the dream indicated.
7. Health-related Dreams: These dreams serve as reminders to pay attention to your physical and mental well-being. For example, dreaming of suffocation may indicate an underlying health issue, such as nasal congestion, lung or bronchial problems.
8. Recurring Dreams: Dreams that reoccur over an extended period, with similar or slightly varied content. They often relate to early-life experiences or circumstances that have been forgotten in waking life but vividly manifest in dreams.
