Dreaming of Finding Money
Dreams about money sometimes represent themselves. For example, when someone who is financially struggling dreams of finding a large sum of money, they feel extremely happy. Unfortunately, upon waking up, the dream money disappears without a trace. They sigh and say, "If only I had deposited the money in the dream bank, I could at least spend it in the next dream. While awake, I may be poor, but while asleep, I could still be wealthy."
Another example is when someone dreams of losing their wallet, but the next morning, they find it safely tucked inside their handbag, albeit with a loose seam. They quickly repair the handbag. This dream serves as a reminder from their subconscious to be cautious about losing money.
Money can also symbolize value. A girl dreams of a shiny coin on the ground, but upon closer inspection, it turns out to be a phlegm. It represents her initial belief in the value of someone or something, only to later discover that not only is it worthless, but it also disgusts her.
A dream example from psychologist Ann Faraday illustrates the point. A recently divorced woman, feeling lonely and anxious, frequently dreams of falling from a ship into the water (her husband represented the ship). One day, she dreams of being on the ship with a large group of people, all falling into the water from the bow. She also jumps into the water but doesn't wake up in fear. Instead, she dreams of standing steadily on the shore and even finds a silver coin. After waking up, her worries disappear.
The meaning of this dream is that although she later exposes herself to danger (represented by water), she doesn't drown and discovers something valuable.
The silver coin symbolizes her independence and the sense of accomplishment she gains. Dreaming of finding money brings joy to the dreamer. However, the way people approach unexpected wealth differs. Some accept it, while others hand it over to the police. Which is better? Acceptance. Those who give it to the police should not praise themselves or claim to be noble in their dreams. Because those who hand over the money in dreams often reflect a lack of confidence and an attitude of thinking that good things won't happen to them. The next time you dream of finding money, strive to accept it. When you can dream of picking up money and actually keep it, it indicates an increase in self-confidence. Alternatively, make an effort to boost your self-confidence during the waking hours. If you dream of finding money and choose to keep it after achieving self-confidence, it means you have truly gained confidence.
It is important to note that the act of "keeping money secretly" in dreams is entirely different from the real-life concept of "honesty in finding money." In dreams, money often represents something valuable, which may not necessarily be material but could be spiritual.
