How to Predict Diseases through Dreams
Some diseases often manifest in the form of dreams before they occur. Especially nightmares, although they can be unpleasant and disrupt sleep, they are often early signals of cancer and other diseases, especially if recurring nightmares with similar content occur. They may indicate significant disease symptoms and reveal the location, nature, and severity of impending conditions.
A woman felt extremely fatigued but continued to push herself to work. One night, she dreamt of desperately holding onto a window frame to prevent herself from falling downstairs but eventually fell due to exhaustion. Two days later, she fainted while working. The doctor diagnosed her with a urinary tract infection caused by prolonged standing.
Renowned Western dream interpreters believe that there is a "premonitory dream" before the onset of physical illnesses because in dreams, all subtle bodily sensations are amplified. In the case of the woman mentioned above, her dream reminded her not to push herself too hard and also expressed a subconscious desire to stop and quit.
Interpreting her dream as "you are getting sick" might not be appropriate because the dream's content does not directly relate to a urinary tract infection. For example, a person with cystitis may dream of a spring, while someone with lung disease may dream of suffocation. This view has persisted from ancient times to the advent of scientific medicine, and even today, dream analysis experts have not raised objections.
